I found a text book called “the Making Of Illinois” that has the names of Elizabeth and Josephine Stahl written in the front of it. They also wrote Meadow branch school in it and dated it 1910.I know that Josephine was a teacher in the Jerseyville area and taught at the Rosedale school. I have no connection to Jerseyville so I thought I would ask if anyone is interested in this book.
Do you still have it? I would love to have it
Just checking again to see if you still have the book mentioned above. I would love to have it if you do.
Sorry but I gave the book to a distant relative name Stahl a couple of years ago. If you are just interested in the book you can buy a copy at Abebook on line.
