Cosmos Keller, Jr.
Cosmos Keller, Jr. was born in Elsah where his family ran the hotel. Around 1890 he and his family moved into Jerseyville where Cosmos became sheriff of Jersey County. Interestingly, his grandson, Paul Miller of Jerseyville was later a Jersey County sheriff.
