Historic Hazel DellHazel Dell

Home of Lt. Colonel William Houston Fulkerson, 63rd Tennessee Infantry, CSA. Located North of Jerseyville. The “Victorian Festival” is held at Hazel Dell, Labor Day weekend. Civil War encampments are held with both Yankee and Confederate troops in pitch battles, just south of D’Arcy Creek. Robert E. Lee, a friend of Colonel Fulkerson, visited with the builder of “Hazel Dell” after the War.
