Edsall Cemetery

Edsall Cemetery

Photo submitted by Tom Noble, [email protected].

Edsall cemetery is buried in the woods in Otter Township. It was cared for by a cousin of Tom Noble until his death about 2 years ago. He had cared for it for over 50 years. It is not accessible by road and is overgrown. A Boy Scout troop is helping to clear and restore the cemetery. There are three Civil war veterans buried in the cemetery. There is one unknown Friend that was visiting and became sick. She told Tom’s Grandfather that shewas sad because there would be no one to place flowers on her grave. He promised that there would always be flowers on her grave. Flowers continue to grow on that grave and he died in 1947.
