Researcher note, No. 63. F. J. Mavis is a misprint. His name was actually FreemanJones Mains, and he is buried in the Jalapa Cemetery in Greene County. He was a big deal in Jersey County but his ancestry was actually from Greene County. He changed his name from MEANS to MAINS. From Marty Crull.
